Personal Injury Claims: Answers To Frequently Asked Questions

What compensation may I be able to receive for my personal injury claim?

Each personal injury claim is founded on factually specific circumstances. In general, we will work hard to pursue compensation to cover medical expenses — including any future medical bills — as well as damages for pain and suffering, scarring and disfigurement, loss of enjoyment of life, loss of consortium, and damages for emotional injuries or mental health conditions resulting from the accident. For work-related injuries, workers’ compensation laws allow us to pursue compensation for medical expenses, therapy, vocational training, disability and lost wages.

What if the police did not listen to me during the accident investigation?

Our clients often feel that during the chaos at the accident scene the police may have just written down what the other driver said. Attorney John Wilbers is well-aware that police reports may not always cover all of the facts, or may have inaccuracies. We work with accident reconstructionists, investigators and other professionals, when necessary, to supplement our own investigation. Moreover, we listen to our clients and serve to provide them with a strong voice in court.

What does it cost to hire a personal injury lawyer?

With the hard road to physical recovery ahead, medical bills on your mind, and a tight budget with lost work, we understand that you may be concerned about the legal costs. We handle personal injury claims on a contingency basis. That means that you will not pay us a fee unless we obtain compensation through settlement or verdict on your behalf.

What can I expect when I meet with The Wilbers Law Firm LLC?

Our clients often tell us how welcoming and attentive our attorney and legal team are, beginning with the initial consultation. You will have access to a single point of contact to get status updates when you need them. Our lawyer, John Wilbers, remains accessible every step of the way to provide legal advice and guidance when you need it.

Where do I park when I visit your office?

The Wilbers Law Firm LLC is located at 130 South Bemiston Ave, Suite 406, in St. Louis, Missouri. Free parking is available if you enter the small driveway to the left of the front door on Bemiston Avenue. You will drive to a small parking kiosk. Be sure that your parking stub is green. We can validate the green stub. Some people are tempted to follow the “parking” sign on Bonhomme. We cannot validate parking for the parking facility on the Bonhomme side of the building.
