The Wilbers Law Firm LLC - We Focus On People

When you are faced with a personal injury, you need a dedicated, experienced and compassionate attorney to take care of you and to prevail in your case. At the heart of any personal injury or workers' compensation matter is a real person who deserves personal attention and personal service. At The Wilbers Law Firm LLC, we put people first.

We take great strides to learn about our clients, the extent of the injuries and the full story surrounding the accident. People who have been injured often feel that there is nobody who will fully listen to their story.

We understand the importance of communicating with our clients throughout the legal process and are always willing to answer your questions and address any concerns. Our small-firm setting allows us to provide our clients with the personalized representation they deserve. We back up our high level of personal service with zealous advocacy aimed at obtaining the maximum compensation possible in each and every case.

In Memoriam

L.H. "Bud" Wilbers

L.H. "Bud" Wilbers founded The Wilbers Law Firm LLC in Jefferson City in 1958. Bud obtained his law degree from Cumberland School of Law in 1957, graduating first in his class, and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1958. Early in his legal career, he gained valuable experience in personal injury law defending against claims. The insight into how the trucking companies and insurance companies handle complex claims provided a solid foundation for our firm's commitment to maximizing compensation for personal injury victims and their families.

In 1980, Bud realized that he would rather represent the individuals suffering personal injury – rather than the individuals and organizations that caused the injuries. He used his experience on the "defense side" to assist him on the "plaintiff's side." Bud's ability in the courtroom and in his practice earned him recognition by his peers in the Best Lawyers in America list. During his 56 years of legal service, Bud earned the distinguished honor as "Senior Counsel" from The Missouri Bar. He passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.

Stacey Goodwin
